Our History

S&W Waterproofing, Inc. was founded in 1983 by Bob Svoboda to provide masonry and concrete repair, renovation, and restoration. Bob also specialized in waterproofing and sealants, focusing on the methodology used to reduce infiltration, migration and movement of moisture and air, as well as the associated repair technology.

In the years since, we’ve become one of the largest and most trusted providers of caulking, waterproofing, and specialty restoration within our industry. We’re proud to handle all sizes of projects—small, one-day projects, long-term projects spanning more than two years—and everything in between. We’ve become known as experts in specialty design, construction, materials, and installation.

We’ve developed a reputation for doing jobs right the first time, and our customers keep coming back. They’ve also told their friends—helping us grow from a small Kansas City-based company to one that contracts projects throughout the United States.
